Chandigarh, December 22 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that along with power, humility and the emotion of serving the public are needed for the promotion of the society and nation. He said that along with power, spiritual and social values are required to give a new direction to society. He said that by adopting the spirit of service, a new exemplary form can be given to the society.

The Chief Minister shared this spiritual expression while paying respect to Junapithadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj and addressing the devotees present on the occasion of Shri Hanumat Aradhana Mahotsav, at Prabhu Prem Ashram in Ambala Cantt.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the spiritual program being organized by Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj every year, certainly guides the society in spiritual and religious terms.

He said that there has been a conflict between good and evil in society since ancient times. Goodness always wins in a conflict. He said that the spiritual message of saints and Munis’ have always guided the society. At present, there are large ashrams and institutes which are guiding the society not only in the country but also internationally.

He said that it is through these guidelines that a new definition of social service is being written. He said that the Prabhu Premi Sangh being run by the Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj is an auspicious spiritual institution which has started the new chapters of harmony of service and goodwill. He said that this institution is guiding the people of the society to spread and expand the spiritual values to the needy. The Chief Minister said that everyone needs to learn from this institution to maintain social and spiritual values.

The Chief Minister said that Hanuman ji had a great sense of service towards Lord Ram. The learning of the messages given by Lord Rama and the service of Lord Hanuman certainly has a powerful impact on everyone’s life. He said that everyone should learn from the teachings given by them and make their important contribution to the development of the society and the nation. On this occasion, he appreciated the spiritual and social work being done by Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj in various social services.

Earlier, Haryana Home Minister, Mr. Anil Vij thanked Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj for reaching their constituencies and said that the inspiration and exemplary message of spiritualism is very important to make the lives of the people simple. He said that Prabhu Prem Ashram spiritual and social organization is doing excellent work in this direction.

Speaking on the occasion, Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj welcomed Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, Home Minister , Mr. Anil Vij and all the visiting devotees and said that the Indian culture treats the world as one family. The messages emanating from the Shlokas of the Gita are universal.
