Chandigarh, Sept 6 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the government is concerned and determined to address the problem of water logging in Ellenabad and for this, the government has released an amount of Rs 17 crore. He said that Mangala distributory will be extended and the process on it has been started.

The Chief Minister was addressing huge public meetings in Nathusari Chopta, Jamal Chowk and Madhosinghana in Ellenabad today.

He said that the present State Government has done the work of waiving interest and penalty of the farmers on the debts of the cooperative societies. He said that this will provide relief of about Rs 4750 crore to the farmers.`

He said that the Haryana government has also implemented Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana for the poor under which financial assistance of Rs 6,000 will be given annually. The Chief Minister said that the present State Government has worked to provide gas cylinders to every household and if a person does not have a gas cylinder till now, such family will be provided gas cylinder within 48 hours.

  Mr. Manohar Lal said that the government had released an amount of Rs 700 crore as compensation to farmer for the whitefly attack on cotton in the area.

 He said that the present State Government has done continuous development work and has worked to provide convenience to the people. In this series, computer centres, Atal Sewa Kendras, Antyodaya Kendras have been opened. He said that CM window was set up on which about 6.5 lakh complaints were received and out of these 5.80 lakh complaints were disposed off. He said that the State Government has provided jobs to the youth on merit basis and has eliminated the middlemen. Because of this, today the opposition is stunned and their parties are divided. He said that the present State Government has done a lot of development work and this development work has been done to solve the problems of 2.5 crore people of Haryana, who are his family.
