Chandigarh September 4: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that a new railway track from Hansi to Rohtak is being constructed in the State. This would be the State’s first such railway track through which the journey from Hisar to Delhi would be completed in just one-and-a-half hour.

Mr Manohar Lal was addressing a largely attended public meeting during his Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Hansi, district Hisar today.

He said that the Airport at Hisar was inaugurated on August 15 last year and yesterday only the flight between Hisar and Chandigarh has been started. Now a common man could also travel in aeroplane as a passenger and could reach Chandigarh from Hisar at nominal fare of Rs 1,674, he said adding that with the start of this airport, not only Hisar but other adjoining districts would get a major fillip in terms of development. He further said that soon the air services from Hisar to Jammu, Dehradun, Shimla and Jaipur would also be started. He said that services of Cargo, MRO and pilot training would be available at Hisar Airport which would also generate employment opportunities for the youth.

While describing 2.5 crore population of Haryana as his family, he said that uniform development has been ensured in the State and development works to the tune of Rs 500 crore to 700 crore have been undertaken in each assembly constituency of the State.

Mr Manohar Lal said that people have formed BJP government in the State with some aspirations and confidence and we have made honest efforts to fulfill the same in the last five years. He said that the State Government has started Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana under which Rs 6000 would be deposited every year in the bank accounts of those families as have annual family income of upto Rs 1.80 lakh. Apart from this, free treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh annually is also being provided to the poor families under the Pradhanmantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

He said that only two days ago, the State Government has taken a decision to waive off interest and penalty on crop loans of farmers taken from cooperative banks. With this, lakhs of farmers would be benefited to the tune of about Rs 5000 crore.
