Chandigarh, Sept 6 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that by the year 2022, about 3 lakh houses will be ready for the poor in the state. He said that so far about 9 lakh gas connections have been provided to the poor families of the state.

The Chief Minister was addressing a public gathering during the Jan Arshiwad Yatra in Ratia lat evening yesterday.

He said, “We have run the government with transparency and in a fair manner for five years and we will get the development work done even faster. We have not rested for a single day in the last five years and have always cared for the people of the state”, he added.

Mr. Manohar Lal said that the present government wants that clean water should reach the house of poor so in the next term, work will be done to supply water to every house through taps. He said that in the coming time, all the problems of the villages will be resolved. He said that under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, poor are being provided treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh.

Earlier, BJP State President, Mr. Subhash Barala invited the people present for the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi's rally to be held in Rohtak on September 8. He said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal has done all-round development of the state and in the same direction, development works worth crores of rupees have been done or are going on in Ratia.

On this occasion, Member of Parliament (MP) from Sirsa, Mrs. Sunita Duggal welcomed the Jan Ashirwad Yatra on its arrival in Ratia.

Others present on the occasion included Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, MP, Mr. Sanjay Bhatia, Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr. Amit Arya and other dignitaries.
