Chandigarh August 27: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today announced to develop two Kisan Model Schools in Jhajjar district as Skill Development Centres and said that a project would be named after former IAS officer late Mr Ram Niwas in village Subana of the district as a tribute to him.
Mr Manohar Lal made these announcements while addressing the people of Badli assembly constituency during the Jan Ashirwad Yatra today.
He urged the cattle rearers to get their cattle insured as the amount of insurance comes only 10 paisa per day that is insurance of cattle is done for the three years in just Rs 100. He said that village Subana of Badli assembly constituency is not only famous for freedom fighters and sports persons but also well known for administrative officers. While recalling former IAS officer late Mr Ram Niwas who hails from the same village, the Chief Minister said that Mr Ram Niwas had worked efficiently in various important departments.
On this occasion, Mr Manohar Lal also appreciated Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Mr O.P Dhankar saying that he has given new direction to agriculture and rural development. Owing to this, people have also started saying Mr Dhankar as Junior Swaminathan. He appealed the people to get the benefit of welfare schemes being run by the State Government through E-Disha Centres, Atal Seva Kendras and Saral Kendras.
It may be recalled that during the previous State Government, Kisan Model schools were opened in village Subana and village Bhairavi of Charkhi Dadri but school buildings are not being utilized properly. To ensure that the wards of farmers get skill training after completing their studies, Skill Development Centres would be set up.
MP namely Dr Arvind Sharma and Mr Sanjay Bhatia, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Media Adviser to Chief Minister Mr Amit Arya and other prominent personalities of the area were also present on this occasion.
