Chandigarh, February 15 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today inaugurated the Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Swarna Jayanti Diagnostic Center at Sector-39 in Gurugram. The Diagnostic Center has been set up in collaboration with IFFCO Tokyo and IIFCL under Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Puja Sthal Board, Municipal Corporation and CSR. For 10 years, the responsibility of building the Diagnostic Center, installing machinery in it and to operate, has been given to HLL, under the Government of India.
On the occasion, speaking to the media persons, the Chief Minister said that the public will get benefit after the start of this lab. He said that in this center, people living below the poverty line will be given free health facilities, while others will avail it at the nominal CGHS rates as compared to the current market. He said that this is an important initiative for which other institutions of the society should also come forward to benefit the people of the society.
An official spokesman said that in this center, all types of diagnostic services will be available at reasonable rates which mainly include X-rays, ultrasound, city scan, liver functioning test, all types of blood tests, etc. He said that it will also have a waiting room for patients.
He said that the test facility will be available in this lab at a reasonable price than the diagnostic tests conducted in Gurugram at other labs. For example, chest X-ray is of Rs 250 on other health organizations whereas in this center it will be done for only Rs 60, He said that in this center, TMT will be tested for only Rs 489 which is of Rs 1500 on other health check-up centers. In the center, ECG of Rs 50 rupees, lever functioning of Rs 255, liquid profile of Rs 200, he said
