Chandigarh, February 16 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, today inaugurated three projects while laying the foundation stones of another three projects, at the Pragati Rally in Dongra Ahir in District Mahendragarh.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Sichai Bhavan at Narnaul which was made at a cost of about Rs 3.9 crore. He also inaugurated the Community Health Centre at Sehlang which was upgraded from Primary health Centre at a cost of about Rs 3.84 crore. Mr. Manohar Lal also inaugurated State Veterinary Hospital which was built at a cost of Rs 35 lakhs at Dongra Ahir.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of National Civil Hospital which has will be upgraded from 100 bedded to 200 at a cost of Rs 45.10 crore.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Primary Health Center to come up in Daungra Ahri Village. The Primary Health Centre will be constructed at a cost of 3.95 crore. The Primary Health Centre will also have a residential complex inside its premises.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the new educational building of Baba Kheta Nath Government Polytechnic College which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.71 crore.

He also announced a grant of Rs10 crore each for the rural development of the four assembly constituencies of the district.

While speaking at the rally he said that the State Government is putting in efforts to strengthen the network of roads in the state. In regard to that, he said that where the 6 Karam roads will be constructed up to 50 kilometers in every Vidhan Sabha constituency every year by the Public Works Department (B&R) across the state. The roads with a width of 5 Karam will be constructed up to 50 kilometers, 3 and 4 Karam roads will be constructed with Khandje (Tiles) up to 25 kilometers in every Vidhan Sabha constituency every year by the Marketing Board.

Mr. Manohar Lal said that District Mahendragarh has remained neglected during the tenure of the previous governments till 2014, but since he took the responsibility in 2014, the first step he took was for the prosperity of the farmers. He said that, since then, the irrigation system has been raised in places where there wasn’t any and that the existing irrigation systems were improved.

The Chief Minister has directed Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Member of Parliament, Mr. Dharambir Singh and Member of Legislative Assembly, Nangal Chaudhary, Dr. Abhay Singh Yadav to form a five-member committee, including them, which will prepare a complete framework of a permanent solution to deliver canal water for irrigation in this district and submit a report.

Apart from that, the Chief Minister said that people should take full advantage of the ambitious schemes being implemented by the government. Many schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi are a boon for the needy people.
