Chandigarh, November 7 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal today inspected the Antyodaya Bhawan and Saral Kendras in Gurugram district and expressed his satisfaction over the citizen centric services being provided to the general public there.
He also interacted with the beneficiaries who reached these centers and took feedback from them.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government has set up the Antyodaya Bhawan and Saral Kendras so that the benefits of all the citizen centric services to the State people can be given under one roof and in a time bound manner.

He said that benefits of the 274 citizen centric services related to various departments at e-Disha Kendra and 234 schemes related to various departments at Antyodaya Bhawan are being given across the State. The Chief Minister also inspected the e-Disha and Saral Kendras located in the Small Secretariat and obtained information about the citizen centric services and tokens etc being offered to the people. During the inspection, the Chief Minister found that a large number of people reach these centers everyday to take advantage of the citizen centric services.

The Chief Minister further directed the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Amit Khatri that in view of the convenience of the district residents, they should either move this center to a larger place or build two offices so that people's time is not wasted. He said that it is the endeavor of the State Government’s that people get the citizen centric services in a better and time bound manner.

Earlier, Chief Minister visited the Antyodaya Bhawan at Vikas Sadan where he first went to the token counter. He asked the person sitting at the token counter detailed information about the process of obtaining the token. After this, the Chief Minister talked to the beneficiary who had come to the Antyodaya Bhawan to take advantage of the scheme being given by the Animal Husbandry Department and asked the staff present there to complete the formalities to give the scheme benefit to the beneficiary. After this, the Chief Minister interacted with a woman beneficiary who had come to take advantage of the State Government’s Aapki Beti Hamari Beti scheme. The Chief Minister also gave a certificate related to this scheme to the woman.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Amit Khatri informed the Chief Minister that on an average more than 80 people visit the centre every day to take advantage of the scheme. The Chief Minister said that providing timely benefits of government schemes to the people are one of the topmost priorities of the State Government. He also directed to paste signage giving information about the schemes in Antyodaya Bhawan.
