Chandigarh, February 11:- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, who is also the Chairman of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, Panchkula has approved an amount of Rs 1114.78 lakhs for construction of old age home in the campus of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board (SMMDSB), Panchkula.

While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that the decision to construct the old age home was taken in the 17th meeting of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board. He said that the construction work of the old age home will be undertaken by the Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Department.

He said that the old age home would be constructed within 36 months. He said the old age home will be a four-storey building. It will have 19 double-occupancy rooms, including WC and kitchenette, two cubicles with two dormitories. He said that the old age home will also have two lifts and will have the provision of stairs as well.

He said that the ground floor will have reception, office, doctor room, general ward, nursing station, waiting lounge, kitchen and a dining hall. He said that the first floor will have three double-occupancy rooms, WC and kitchenette, meditation-room, reading-room, attendant-room and a veranda.

He said that the second floor will have five double-occupancy rooms, WC, kitchenette and a cubicle including dormitory and verandah as well. The third floor will have five double-occupancy rooms, WC, kitchenette, a cubicle, a dormitory and the fourth floor will have six double-occupancy rooms, WC and kitchenette, he said.
