Chandigarh, August 22 - Haryana Government has approved to transfer land measuring 1 Kanal 2 Marla to the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department from Municipal Council, Ambala Sadar for the purpose of widening of Babayal and Chandpura road in district Ambala, so as to expand it for smooth flow of traffic for the people of these villages.

Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has accorded approval to a proposal to this effect. The property of this land is Shamlat deh hadhbast aaraji khewat. The collector rate of this land is Rs 44 lakh per acre.

Significantly, the HL Bridge of Tangri River is under construction on the approach road connecting village Babayal to village Chandpura. The existing width of the land for construction of this approach road is only 5 karam and hence one more karam is required to be added to it so as to expand it for smooth flow of traffic.
