Chandigarh 16 July: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal hoisted the 135-feet high tricolour at the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Murthal (DCRUST) installed at a cost of about Rs 46 lakh. He said that it would strengthen the spirit of patriotism. Along with dedicating the newly constructed Atal Academy and Idea Lab built at a cost of 35 crores, he encouraged the students to move forward towards science.

The Chief Minister said that the tallest national flag has been installed first at DCRUST, which is a proud and inspiring project.The university has arranged a special light arrangement to shine 24 hours a day and night, promoting nationalism. The university family is congratulated for completing this work in two years.

Talking about other projects, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Atal Academy and Idea Lab dedicated to science and architecture will boost research. This project is supported by AICTE, focusing on developing new ideas for lifestyles through science. The Idea Lab aims to develop useful science-based solutions for various industries.

The Chief Minister highlighted the progress in science, stating that mail now reaches Prime Ministers directly through email. He also highlighted the ability to type and receive letters in just five minutes using ChatGPT in his office.

"We are doing better with the latest technology. Now the era is changing. There are new ideas today. Start-ups are giving opportunities to the youth to move towards industries. The new education policy says that education should be job-oriented and skill development should be promoted. Now there is a need to change the old three-R (Reading, Writing, Arithmetic) education” he added.

The Chief Minister stated that firms worth thousands of crores of rupees have been built from scratch. People have come so far in business only on the strength of their ideas.

Member of Parliament, Sh. Ramesh Kaushik, MLA, Sh. Mohan Lal Badauli, MLA, Sh. Nirmal Chaudhary, former Minister Kavita Jain, Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Archana Mishra and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
