Chandigarh, August 12- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed today, between Haryana and Russia for trade and investment in many areas including Timber, Healthcare, Real Estate and Education, in Vladivostok, Russia.
On behalf of Haryana, Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal and on behalf of Russia, Mr Aisen Nikolaev, Head of the Russian Far Eastern Province of Sakha (Yakatukia) signed the MoU, in the presence of Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr Piyush Goyal. This will expand and strengthen the economic co-operation between the Sakha Republic of the Russian Federation and the State of Haryana.
It may be noted that the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi would visit the Far East Region of Russia to attend the Eastern Economic Forum to be held in September 2019. In view of this, a delegation from India under the leadership of Union Minister, Mr Piyush Goyal has visited to Vladivostok, Russia from August 11 to 14, 2019. Mr Goyal was accompanied by Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister, Russian Federation, Mr. Yuri Trutnev was also present. During the inauguration session, the Haryana’s Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal delivered his speech in Russian which was very well received by the Russian dignitaries and business community. He discussed to explore the possibilities of cooperation and investment in Oil, Gas and Energy sector.
During the visit, the Business delegates from Haryana held promising B2B meetings with Russian counterparts. The representatives of Yamunanagar plywood cluster representatives also participated in B2B meetings to explore opportunities in trade and investment in the Timber sector In addition, the representatives of healthcare sector from the State also had fruitful meetings with Russian Business delegates to assess nature of opportunities and viability of investing in the Russian Healthcare industry.
On the occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Haryana, Mr. Devendra Singh was also present.
Chandigarh, August 12- Haryana Chief Minister,Mr. Manohar Lal will hoist the National flag at Sonipat on August 15.
While giving this information, an official spokesman said that this time, Daredevil Motorcycle-Show by Commandos and personnel of Haryana Police would be special attraction in the Independence Day celebrations. Apart from this, thousands of police personnel would exhibit their skills through PT show.
He said that the Chief Minister would arrive at 8:58 am. After this, he would unfurl the National flag and National Anthem would be played. The Chief Minister would inspect the parade which would be followed by his address. Other programme includes March Past, PT Show, Patriotic Anthem and Cultural Program and Citation and reward would be distributed. The Chief Guest would depart at 11:15 am after the National Anthem is played.
