Chandigarh, May 29- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has announced that the State Government will grant an advance upto Rs one crore to each Deputy Commissioner of the state. This advance would be utilised to meet out the emergent requirement of payment of wages, honorarium etc to the employees engaged on contract basis under centrally and state sponsored schemes in case the departments do not receive funds or grants on time from the central or state government for one reason or other.

The funds would be released from Contingency Funds of the state.

Chandigarh, May 29 – The integrated aviation hub in Hisar would be established in a phased manner and airstrip of 10,000 feet would be ready by January 2021, where A-320 and Boeing-737 airplanes can land. Apart from this, Hisar airport would be got completely ready by 2024 for operation, besides a big flying school would also be established in Hisar, which would have a provision of imparting training to about 100 pilots.

This was disclosed in a meeting of Civil Aviation Department held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, here today.

It was informed that by 2021, concerted efforts would be made to provide MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility to big airplanes alongwith parking facility in Hisar. The Hisar airport would also be established as an alternate airport so that the flights from busy Delhi airport could use this airport. There would also be parking facility so that airplanes could be parked in Hisar in view of shortage of parking space at Delhi airport.

It was informed that a special-purpose vehicle (SPV) would be established in Haryana for management and expansion of airports, and other activities related to flights under which Haryana State Aviation Infrastructure Company Limited would be constituted for which the Chief Minister gave in principle approval today. It was also informed that in view of the drone activities in the state, a drone academy would be established in Bachhod, Narnaul because this field has immense possibilities. Apart from this, parking of small airplanes would be promoted in Narnaul.

It was informed that a helidrome would be established at Pinjore to promote helicopter flights so that passengers and tourists going to hill stations of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand would get speedy service. A meeting would soon be held with Himachal Pradesh Government to establish this helidrome. With the setting up of this helidrome, it would be easy and fast to reach stations such as Shimla, Kullu and Dharamshala.

It was also informed that provision of base for flights would also be made at Pinjore. It was informed that a Advisory Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Minister and a Steering Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary would be constituted for completion of these projects in a phased and timely manner.

Roy, Principal Secretary, Development and Panchayats Department, Mr. Sudhir Rajpal, Principal Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, Principal Secretary, Irrigation Department, Mr. Anurag Rastogi and Advisor, Civil Aviation Department, Mr. Ashok Sangwan and other senior officers.
