Chandigarh June 3: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has directed the departments to complete the ongoing development works in the State under the Chief Minister’s announcement on priority basis also sought list of those development works or projects which are being delayed due to land related issues so that the same could be resolved at the earliest.
Mr Manohar Lal was presiding over a meeting to review the progress of Chief Minister’s announcement of various departments including Revenue, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Home, Administration of Justice, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, Transport and Tourism here today.
The Chief Minister said that so far he has made 7,965 announcements pertaining to various development works in the State out which 5,159 announcements have either been completed or in progress while 2,571 announcements are pending. He directed the officers to work in a mission mode to complete the CM announcements and bring the pendency to zero. He said that with a view to fast track the work, the period of tendering should be reduced. Similarly, the pre-bidding should be conducted in three days. In case of shortage of manpower, the department concerned could either meet the demand from their own department or through deputation from other departments, he added.
He asked the departments to furnish him list of those development works and projects which are lying pending due to land related issues. ‘I will soon convene a meeting of such development works involving land issues so that the same could be resolved and works completed in a time bound manner’ he added. He said that in case government or panchayat land is not available, the department could upload their demand on the e-Bhoomi portal so that required land could be purchased through the farmers.
While reviewing the Chief Minister’s announcement, Mr Manohar Lal directed to give detail about those small retailers (vayopari) with turnover upto Rs five lakh per annum who are paying one per cent market fee. He also directed to constitute a committee comprising Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Mr Dhanpat Singh, Additional Chief Secretary School Education Mr P.K Das and Additional Chief Secretary Skill Development and Industrial Training Department Mr Devender Singh for the implementation of Chief Minister’s announcement pertaining to renewal of heavy driving license of district Nuh within one month. He also directed that besides the automobile companies like Tata Motors and Maruti, Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University (HVSU) should be involved for running driving training centers of light and heavy vehicles in the State. He said that more driving training centres should be set up in the State as these would help in generating huge employment opportunities.
It was informed in the meeting that an agriculture science centre would be set up in district Nuh. Land measuring 35 acres has been identified in village Nangal Mubarkpur of the district for this purpose. Apart from this, soil and water testing laboratory would be established in Badhra, district Charkhi Dadri. The Chief Administrator, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) has been asked to provide space in the Mandi at Badhra for the establishment of this laboratory.
It was informed that six fast track Courts in those districts where 50 or more cases of rape and molestation and mental harassment of female are pending in the Courts have started functioning. It was also informed that new women police stations would be established at NIT Faridabad and West Gurugram for which suitable land is being identified. Apart from this, a new Police Training Centre would be opened in Hisar.
It was informed that Pehowa would be taken up under Krishna Circuit. A consolidated proposal of an amount of Rs 19.57 crore for the development of Pehowa is a part of Rs 97.06 crore Detailed Project Report (DPR) which has been sent to the Union Ministry of Tourism as a part of the Krishna Circuit under Swadesh Darshan Scheme Krishna Circuit Phase-II. The Union Ministry has accorded in principle to the proposal of the State Government.

Gupta, Transport Commissioner and Secretary, Transport Department Mr Pankaj Agarwal and other senior officers of the State Government.
