Chandigarh, March 8– Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today, approved amendment in the Haryana Solar Power Policy-2016.

Under the Amendment, wheeling and transmission charges will be exempted for ten years from the date of commissioning for all captive solar power projects which have submitted applications to HAREDA for registration of project, purchased land or have taken land on lease for 30 years and have bought equipment and machinery or invested at least Rs one crore per MW for purchase of equipments and machinery for setting up of such captive solar power projects till February 13,2019, while cross subsidy surcharges and additional surcharges are not applicable for captive solar power projects.

No waiver of wheeling and transmission charges, cross subsidy surcharges and additional surcharges will be given to solar power project set up for third party sale.

Chandigarh, June 8 – Haryana Government has decided to set up five new Police stations by upgrading existing police posts in Ambala Range for strengthening the law and order and effectively dealing with crime in the state.

While stating this here today, Director General of Police, Mr Manoj Yadava said that Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal of Home Department for upgrading five Police posts to Police stations in Ambala Range.

These Police stations will be established at Gandhi Nagar, Yamunanagar, Sector-9 Ambala, Krishna Gate, Thanesar, Kurukshetra, City Pehowa, Kurkshetra and Sector-17, HUDA, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar.

He said that government has also approved 331 posts for the new Police stations on which an annual expenditure of over Rs 14.48 crore would be incurred. Each Police station would have five posts of Inspectors, 12 Sub-Inspectors, 24 Assistant Sub Inspectors, 54 Head Constables, 216 Constables and class IV staff.

The DGP also thanked the Chief Minister for giving consent for new Police stations in Ambala Range. This move would help in further strengthening the law and order in view of the increase in population and rapid urbanization.
