Chandigarh, June 23 – Haryana Government has decided to organise a function to celebrate the International Co-operative Day in Yamunanagar on July 6, 2019. In this program, the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal will be the Chief Guest.
Giving information in this regard, Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr. Manish Kumar Grover said that on this occasion, exhibitions will be organized by cooperatives and co-operative societies to display their products, and Dairyfed will display milk storage data. About 12,000 participants from the primary agricultural co-operatives and different cooperative societies of the state will participate in this program. He said that it has been decided to constitute committees of various co-operative federations for successfully organizing of the program. Three cooperative societies, which have been performing well, will be honoured in this function. On this occasion, Hafed will make an attractive welcome gate, he added.
Mr. Grover said that farmers should make brand of their products and increase their income by selling them. This will add credibility to their products and they will get better value of their product, he added.
