Chandigarh, June 25- The Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Manohar Lal here today, took several decisions having far-reaching impact for promoting affordable housing in the State. Whereas, the total limit for grant of Affordable Group Housing Colony in a sector has been increased from existing 15 acres to 30 acres now; the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna, which is a Affordable Plotted Housing Policy has been now extended to Gurugram Development Plan.

Apart from above, the minimum area norm for grant of licenses has been reduced keeping in view the fact that owing to high land costs, aggregation of land in larger chunks has become an issue.

The Cabinet also approved a policy for issuance of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) through which aggregation of land for infrastructure and public utilities shall become easy. After the new Land Acquisition Act has come into effect, it has been extremely difficult to ensure end-to-end infrastructure provisioning because of existing bottlenecks in land procurement. The TDR policy is expected to come handy in this process.

The Cabinet also approved the extension of commercial plotted colony policy over Gurugram which is likely to provide additional options in commercial development. The Cabinet also approved issuance of clarification in the NILP Policy confirming the applicability of TOD Policy over NILP Colonies and for resolving the implementation issues in the process.

Chandigarh, June 25- Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal here today accorded approval for filling up of two posts of Management Trainee/Manager (Marketing) by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) through direct recruitment at its own level in order to meet the requirement of professionally qualified and young energetic professional.

A selection committee headed by Chief Secretary, Chairman, HSIIDC, Managing Director, HSIIDC, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department and Director of Industries and Commerce has been constituted for this purpose.

The qualification and experience of the post of Management Trainee/Manager (Marketing) is MBA (Marketing)/equivalent.
