Chandigarh, July 1 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal lauded the Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGAs) for their exemplary work in ensuring the access of welfare policies to the people while maintaining better coordination with the authorities. Which is why people are now availing benefits of these services at their homes.
The Chief Minister was in a meeting with CMGGAs to review the work done during the year, here late last evening. He said that the good governance associates played an important role in providing 480 services and schemes of the government online under one roof. For this, the team has worked to bring about change in government machinery and system. The credit for this also goes to Project Director, Dr. Rakesh Gupta and all CMGGAs and Dr. Gupta deserves accolades.
The Chief Minister said that now after gaining exposure and working experience in Haryana Government, the CMGGAs should move forward in their lives. He expressed hope that the CMGGAs would achieve desired success with their hard work and honest intentions. He said that now the tenure of third batch of CMGGAs has completed and soon the fourth Batch will be here in July. The batch will start work in the direction of self-financing of government schools so that the level of education could further be improved in the state.
He said that the CMGGAs had worked in the online service book, bringing roadways depot into profit, District Modern Library. Apart from this, they also worked on health services, socal audits, solid waste management and submit their suggestions to the government. He said that 21 lakh saplings were planted by the school students under the ‘Paudhgiri’ Program. This year also, the ‘Paudhgiri Program’ will be launched from July 15, under which maximum saplings will be planted towards making the environment green.
CMGGAs informed that the time process of issuing electricity connection and ration card, especially through the Antyodaya Centre, has reduced from 100 days to 16 days. These schemes and services have simplified the lives of the officers as well and work will be done to make them more effective. Apart from this, trust has increased in government schools through ‘Saksham Haryana’ and the result of secondary board classes has also improved.
The Chief Minister said that Meri Fasal Mera Byora Program should be included in Land Registration Program. Under this, the farmers will upload their crop details on the portal by July 31. Through this program, farmers have to register their sowing crop so that they can easily get the price fixed by the government by selling their produce at the purchase centres. Apart from this, the vacant land registration will be done in the month of December.
The CMGGAs also shared their experiences and informed about the services and schemes through presentation. The Chief Minister distributed experience certificates to CMGGAs.
Project Director, CMGGA Program, Dr Rakesh Gupta said that the fourth batch of CMGGAs will work on health awareness, education, environment, agriculture, police and land registration issues and safety, health and education sector, particularly the awareness programs of women. He said that Jagriti Mission was implemented in districts Rohtak and Jhajjar last year, and now it will be implemented in all the districts of the state. Apart from this, special focus will be laid on upgradation of Communication Skill Development so that the youth can be made expert in every field, he added.
