Chandigarh July 11: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval amounting to over Rs 3.70 crore for the special repair of 12 roads in district Bhiwani.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department said that these roads would be repaired by providing 20 mm premix carpet.

He said that these included 2.25 km Durjanpur to Dhani Durjanpur road at a cost of Rs 20.93 lakh, 0.73 km Badi Chang approach road at a cost of Rs 4.68 lakh, 2 km Barwa Railway Station approach Road at a cost of Rs 13.41 lakh, 6.45 km Lohani Kairu Obra Behal Jhumpa road at a cost of Rs 92.92 lakh, 41.31 km road from Siwani Singhani to Baktawarpur at a cost of Rs 41.31 lakh and 4 km Tosham Bye Pass (old) to Tosham road at a cost of Rs 8.17 lakh.

The spokesman said that similarly, the other roads which would be repaired included 2.40 km road from Ajitpura to Kitlana at a cost of Rs 15.68 lakh, 6.70 km Tosham Bye pass-connecting Tosham Bhiwani road crossing Bawani Khera and Hansi road at a cost of Rs 128.87 lakh, 4.35 kms road from Kalod to Kalali at a cost of Rs 28.58 lakh, 0.33 km P.H.C chang app. road at a cost of Rs 2.36 lakh, 0.69 km Chhoti Chang approach road at a cost of Rs 4.69 lakh and 1.40 km road from Kaluwas to Nathuwas at a cost of Rs 9.25 lakh.

He said that meanwhile, the Chief Minister has also accorded administrative approval amounting to Rs 110.81 crore for the construction of Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at LC No. 58-C on Rohtak-Panipat section crossing road connecting Panipat Safidon Jind Bhiwani road to Panipat Gohana road and ROB on LC No. 59-A on Rohtak-Panipat section crossing G.T Road (Panipat) to Dahar upto NH-709 on 50:50 sharing with Railways. Apart from this, he has accorded administrative approval amounting to over Rs 3 crore for S/R by raising and BC on Ratia Fatehabad road (State Highway-21) from Km 42.86 to 50.60, 51.55 to 53.00 and 64.20 to 65.45 in district Fatehabad.

Chandigarh, July 11 – The newly appointed Chairman of Haryana Housing Board, Mr. Sandeep Joshi said that under the far-sighted vision of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, housing facility will be provided to all people of the state by 2022 and to achieve this goal, the Board will take steps on a large scale.

Mr. Joshi was interacting with media persons after assuming the charge of Haryana Housing Board at Panchkula near here today.

He said that as per the vision of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, action will be taken to provide housing facility to all the citizens of the state in urban and rural areas. For this, several schemes were being run in the state, applications were invited from the people, and now after getting their progress reports, implementation will be ensured. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, work is being done to make available houses to the people.

Mr. Joshi said that he would work with complete honesty and dedication with the officials and employees to bring the Haryana Housing Board in profit and efforts will be made to meet the expectations of the people. He informed that with the efforts of the present government, works have been done to benefit Haryana Housing Board from Rs. seven crore to Rs. 150 crore. For this, the Chief Minister and the board officials deserve appreciation.

On this occasion, former Chairman, Haryana Housing Board, Mr. Jawahar Yadav, State President, Mahila Morcha, Mrs. Nirmala Bairagi, State General Secretary, Mr. Vedpal, Chairman, Mr. Ajay Gaur, District President, Mr. Deepak Sharma, District General Secretary, Mr. Harendra Malik, Mr. Kulbhushan Agrawal and others welcomed and congratulated the newly appointed Chairman.
