Chandigarh, July 15– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal flagged off the rally of school children to save water under Jal Shakti Abhiyan in in Rohtak today. For effective implementation of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan in the state, the 'Calendar of Activities' will be prepared on the lines of Gurugram, under which works will be carried out on water conservation measures.

While participating in the awareness rally, hundreds of school children took oath of water conservation.

The Chief Minister encouraged all participating school children in the rally. This awareness rally started from the Jat Bhawan of Rohtak and concluded at the entrance of Sector 1 of Delhi Bypass.

Others present on the occasion included Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr. Manish Kumar Grover and Member of Parliament, Dr. Arvind Sharma.
