Chandigarh, July 31 – Continuing to come down upon officers with doubtful integrity Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal to the compulsory retirement of Vinod Kumar, IPS, after giving him three months notice. The proposal was made by a Review Committee of Haryana Government which also found 14 IPS officers fit for retention in Government service. These officers have completed 15 and 25 years of service and attained the age of 50 years, and completed 5 years service after induction into IPS.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that on assessing the confidential records and available material of 15 IPS officers, it was found that 14 officers are fit for retention except Vinod Kumar. The 14 IPS officers considered fit for retention in Government service included Vikash Dhankar, Kuldeep Singh, Krishan Murari, Shiv Charan, Balwan Singh, Rakesh Arya, Satender Kumar Gupta, B. Satheesh Balan, Alok Mittal, Shrikant Jadhav, Ms. Kala Ramchandran, Navdeep Singh Virk, Dr. C.S. Rao and Dr. M. Ravi Kiran.
It is learnt that a doubtful integrity was noted in the PAR of Vinod Kumar for the period April 1, 2015 to July 31, 2015. He also used to influence postings and transfers of police officials to lucrative stations to traffic department for undue consideration. He was also placed under suspension by the government and departmental proceedings against him are in progress.
The spokesman said that on reporting of PAR, the message is sent to the officer once the PAR is finalized. Vinod Kumar had not represented against the adverse remarks.
Chandigarh, July 31 – Haryana Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya will unfurl the National Flag in the Independence Day function at Faridabad on August 15, 2019 whereas the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will hoist the National Flag at Sonipat. The ‘At Home’ function would be organized on the same day at Hotel Rajhans in Surajkund, Faridabad.
While giving this information here today, an official spokesperson said that the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr Kanwar Pal will unfurl the National Flag on Independence Day at Kurukshetra and Deputy Speaker, Mrs. Santosh Yadav at Bhiwani.
The Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma will unfurl the National Flag on Independence Day at Ambala, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu will unfurl the National Flag at Gurugram, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr. O.P. Dhankar at Rohtak, Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij at Panipat, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh at Rewari, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs Kavita Jain at Panchkula, Transport Minister, Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar at Jind and Industries Minister, Mr. Vipul Goel at Palwal.
Similarly, Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr Manish Kumar Grover will unfurl the National Flag at Karnal, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Kumar Bedi at Kaithal, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr Karan Dev Kamboj at Sirsa and Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Dr. Banwari Lal at Hisar.
He said that Chief Whip, Mr. Gian Chand Gupta will unfurl the National Flag at Yamunanagar, Chairman, Haryana Board of Public Enterprises, Dr. Kamal Gupta at Jhajjar, Divisional Commissioner, Gurugram will unfurl the National Flag at Mahendragarh (Narnaul), Divisional Commissioner, Hisar at Fatehabad, Divisional Commissioner, Rohtak at Charkhi Dadri and Divisional Commissioner, Nuh at Nuh.
