Chandigarh, Aug 31 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the present state government has given jobs to youth on merit basis and in a transparent manner.
Apart from this, the government has also done the task of providing toilets and gas connections to poor and in the coming time, there is a plan to supply water from tap to every kitchen.
The Chief Minister was addressing people at Taoru of Sohna in district Gurugram today.
The Chief Minister said that the government has launched the Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana to improve the standard of living of the poor. He appealed to the people to fill the form of Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana by visiting Atal Seva Kendras, Antyodaya Kendras or Saral Kendras. He said that the families, whose annual income is up to Rs 1.80 lakh will be given the benefit of this scheme. Under this, assistance of Rs 6,000 will be provided annually. He said that if the family will prosper, the society will prosper, if Haryana will prosper and the country will prosper and this is the resolve of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi to build New India in 21st century.
The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for starting the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' campaign from Haryana. Yesterday also, the Prime Minister has started the AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres in Haryana under the National AYUSH Mission. 10 AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres in various districts of Haryana were started by the Prime Minister through digital link from Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi and thus the Prime Minister was once again directly connected with the people of Haryana.
He said that the Prime Minister is visiting Rohtak on September 8 to mark the finale of Jan Ashirwad Yatra and once again, he will give his message to the people of Haryana.
Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma and Sohna MLA, Mr. Mr. Tejpal Tanwar also addressed the occasion.
Others present on the occasion included Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Kumar Bedi, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, Mr. Amit Arya, OSDs to Chief Minister, Mr. Amarendra Singh and Mr. Bhupeshwar Dayal, and other dignitaries.
