Chandigarh, Sep 5 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today announced 25 development projects worth Rs 115.92 crore for the people of district Jind.
The 10 projects, which were inaugurated by the Chief Minister today, included the construction of new headquarters building of Central Cooperative Bank in Jind Assembly Constituency at a cost of Rs 2.34 crore, construction of extension building of Public Works Rest House Jind at a cost of about Rs 5.50 crore, construction of 33 KV sub-stations in Sangatpura village at a cost of Rs 4.19 crore and in village Iksas at a cost of Rs 3.20 crore. Apart from this, construction of 33 KV sub-station at a cost of about Rs 3 crore in Sector-9 of Safidon Assembly Constituency, construction of 30 residential houses for officials and employees of Revenue Department at a cost of about Rs 8.50 crore. Similarly, reconstruction of DR Bridge of BML-Barwala Link Channel for Narwana Assembly Constituency at a cost of about Rs. 9.97 crore, construction of Divisional and Sub Divisional Office Building at Sudakan Canal Colony at a cost of about Rs. 2.54 crore and the work of laying the pipeline of Ismailpur sub-minor at a cost of Rs 91 lakh.
The 15 development projects laid by Mr. Manohar Lal included widening and construction of new bypass road from Somnath temple to western Yamuna canal in Jind under Jind Assembly Constituency at a cost of Rs. 4.49 crore and reconstruction of the bridge at Hansi Branch at a cost of about Rs two crore. Similarly for Julana Assembly Constituency, construction of roads from Sindhvi Khera to Ashrafgarh via Radhana approach road and special repair of internal roads, secondary roads and parking area in New Grain Mandi Julana at a cost of Rs 5.41 crore and reconstruction of the Shamlo Minor at a cost of Rs 2.81 crore.
Apart from this, for Safidon Assembly Constituency, the construction work of the four laning of Panipat-Assandh road at a cost of Rs 12 crore, construction of Astro Track Hockey Ground at Navdeep Stadium Narwana at a cost of about Rs 6.88 crore, construction of PHC building at Sinsar at a cost of 4.33 crore, special repair of Narwana-Tohana road at a cost of about Rs. 8.19 crore, laying of inter locking blocks behind new grain mandi Narwana shops at a cost of about Rs. 1.72 crore, construction of road from Sachakhera to Budanpur at a cost of around Rs 2.16 crore, the work of laying pipeline from Dhamtan Rajwaha to pour fresh water into Kaulsar pond at Ujhana village at a cost of Rs 72 lakh, construction of PHC in Karamgarh at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore and the construction of residential buildings in civil hospital Narwana at a cost of about Rs 5.72 crore.
