Chandigarh, December 5 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that even though the Supreme Court has given its decision on the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) matter, in Haryana’s favour, still Punjab is misleading the issue.

The Chief Minister was presiding over a review meeting with officials on the SYL issue here today. In the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed that the Chief Secretary of Punjab and Haryana will be holding a meeting with the Central Water Secretary in New Delhi on December 6, 2019. The Chief Minister was further informed that on the SYL issue, the Supreme Court will also probably give its final verdict on January 3, 2020.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to immediately prepare a list of all the small and big issues with Punjab and other neighbouring states such as Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi. He shared that he will be holding meeting with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on December, 14, 2019.
