Chandigarh, 9 January. Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has directed that the grievances of the people should be readdressed on a priority basis. He said that no negligence of any kind will be tolerated while dealing with the complaints filed by the State people.
The Chief Minister was presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee, at Gurugram. He said that this is not necessary that the complaints should be resolved when they are reported in this committee. He said that officers should remain alert about the grievances which are reported directly to the officers. He said that all such complaints should be readdressed immediately.
While interacting with the media, the Chief Minister said that the 5th meeting of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) was held yesterday in which several decisions for the development of Gurugram was taken. He said that after the completion of these GMDA projects, people will get to see Gurugram as an international city.
Responding to a question, the Chief Minister said that corruption will not be tolerated at any cost and strict action as per law is being taken against any complaint related to power theft and any other complaint related to corrupt practices in any department.
He made it clear that if any matter is reported to the State Government, then after checking the facts of the complaints in a transparent manner, necessary action will be taken.
