Chandigarh, January 12- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the youth should be determined, should have a good moral character and they must strive to achieve their goals fearlessly.
The Chief Minister today, addressed the youth across the state on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda through video conferencing from Krishan Lal Public College in Rewari district today.
While referring to the thinking of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on the occasion, Mr. Manohar Lal said that every citizen has to cooperate positively to contribute for the country’s progress. He said that in childhood, we learn from society and during youth, we should do something for the development of society. He added that one should always be ready for his duty towards the society.
He said that the educated youth should try to make the uneducated people learn from them. He inspired the youth to keep thinking on innovative topics.
He said that every youth should have moral values in order to oppose every anti-social element, who misbehaves with woman. He said that those who live for the country and society are remembered for thousands of years.
He said that there are obstacles at the time of our young age, which can be easily resolved as we are energetic at that time. Everyone does personal and family work, it is very important to rise above this and work for the country.
The Chief Minister said that today more than four lakh people have participated in the marathon organized on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
The Chief Minister said that in last five years the state has been successful in bringing a change on the basis of ideology of Swami Vivekananda and work is being done for every citizen to get good governance. He said that every youth should avail benefits of the programs started by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. The government's has made efforts to develop the skills of the youth so that thez are not jobless. To facilitate the unemployed youth of the state, the government has registered 2 lakh 75 thousand youths under the Saksham scheme, out of which 92 thousand registered applicants are employed now.
Earlier, in the state-level Marathon, the Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, Cabinet Minister Dr. Banwari Lal, MLA Mr. Laxman Singh Yadav, former Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Yadav, DGP Mr. Manoj Yadav, ADGP, CID Mr Anil Kumar Rao, ADGP Dr. R.C. Mishra, ADGP Mr. OP Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Rewari, Mr. Yashendra Singh, along with thousands of youth ran together in the Run for Youth Marathon. The participants ran from IOC Chowk to Daksha Prajapati Chowk today. Both men and women of all age groups participated in the race.
