Chandigarh, January 31: The Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal at New Delhi today, decided to constitute a 3-member committee of Ministers for studying the best practices relating to inter-departmental transfer of government land for public purposes.

The 3-member committee will comprise of Power Minister Mr Ranjit Singh, Transport Minister Mr Mool Chand Sharma and Minister of State for Archaeology and Museums Mr Anoop Dhanak. Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Mr Dhanpat Singh will be the Member Secretary of the Committee.

The Committee will also study the best practices adopted in other States to formulate modalities for inter-departmental transfer of government land for public purposes and submit its report the Government.
