Chandigarh, April 10 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has granted approval to release an amount of Rs 5.18 crore for sanitization of 2,588 panchayats across the state. The said amount will be released to panchayats with an annual income of less than Rs 2 lakh. In addition, the Chief Minister has also agreed to release money for the remaining panchayats whose annual income is more than Rs 2 lakh. Thereby, each gram panchayat can use up to Rs 20,000 for sanitation.
According to the amount released, each gram panchayat can spend approximately Rs 20,000 on sanitation. Similarly, Ambala district which has 221 gram panchayats will receive Rs 44,20,000, Bhiwani district which has 185 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 37,00,000, Charkhi Dadri district which has the 98 gram panchayats of will receive Rs. 19,60,000, Faridabad district which has the 57 gram panchayats will receive Rs 11,40,000, Fatehabad district which has 41 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 8,20,000, Gurugram district which has 98 gram panchayats will receive Rs 19,60,000, Hisar district which has 101 gram panchayats will receive Rs 20,20,000, Jhajjar district which has the 117 gram panchayats will receive Rs 23,40,000.
Likewise, Jind district, which has 82 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 16,40,000, Kaithal district which has 84 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 16,80,000, Karnal dstrict which has 92 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 18,40,000, Kurukshetra district which has 141 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 28,20,000, Narnaul district which has 219 gram panchayats will receive Rs 43,80,000, Mewat district which has 177 gram panchayats will receive Rs 35,40,000, Palwal district which has 59 gram panchayats will receive Rs 11,80,000, Panchkula district which has 123 gram panchayats will receive Rs 24,60,000, Panipat district which has 54 gram panchayats will receive Rs 10,80,000, Rewari district which has 116 gram panchayats will receive Rs 23,20,000, Rothak district which has 83 gram panchayats will receive Rs 16,60,000, Sirsa district which has 88 gram panchayats will receive Rs 17,60,000, Sonipat district which has 93 gram panchayats will receive Rs. 18, 60,000 and Yamunanagar district which has 259 gram panchayats will receive an amount of Rs 51,80,000. The said amount has already been released.
