Chandigarh, April 16- Haryana, Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has thanked the management of Divine Public School, Faridabad for completely waiving three month fees of its students in view of COVID-19 pandemic and also urged other private schools in the State to follow this noble example.

Principal of the School, Mr Vikas Gusain informed that the decision to waive of three month fees of students has been taken to provide relief to the parents in this time of national crisis.

Mr. Manohar Lal has also appreciated Mr. M.S. Sawhney, President of Springfields Public School, Yamunanagar for taking several initiatives in view of the situation arising out of COVID-19 including giving 20 per cent discount on books and providing copies and note books free of cost to the students.

The Chief Minister has expressed hope that many more schools would introduce similar measures to provide succour to the wards of needy families during the Corona pandemic.
