Chandigarh, May 26: Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that social institutions like Radha Soami Satsang Beas, Dera Kar Sewa and Nirmal Kutia had enthusiastically come forward to help in the COVID-19 Pandemic and we must seek inspiration from the followers of these institutions.
The Chief Minister said this while interacting with the people associated with these institutions during his visit to Karnal today. He today visited various social institutions and expressed his gratitude for their support to needy persons and workers in COVID-19 crisis and said that the social institutions in Karnal district have made the task of District Administration easier.
Chief Minister arrived at Nirmal Kutia, paid obeisance and took blessings
Chief Minister Manohar Lal today arrived at Nirmal Kutia and during his interaction with Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj and Sarpanch Ji Maharaj along with their followers, thanked everyone. He paid obeisance and took blessings at Nirmal Kutia.
Chief Minister flagged off 4 buses for Madhya Pradesh
The Chief Minister went to Radha Soami Satsang Bhawan at GT Road and interacted with workers living in the shelter home and inquired about their well being, after which he flagged off four buses of Haryana Roadways for Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh. As many as 127 workers have been sent to their homes in these buses. The Chief Minister showered flowers petals on them and also gifted toys and chocolates to small children of these workers. All the passengers clapped and waived and thanked the Chief Minister and other dignitaries.
Chief Minister visited Dera Kar Sewa, took blessings, expressed gratitude to Dera Kar Sewa for their cooperation.
The Chief Minister reached Dera Kar Sewa and met Baba Sukkha Singh ji and thanked him for the excellent support given during COVID-19 crisis. Earlier, Chief Minister took blessings in the Dera Kar Sewa. He said that the Dera Kar Sewa is always at the forefront in helping anyone in need. During the Corona Pandemic, they have supported the administration by providing food to the needy.
Chief Minister Checks Ration Depot. Distributed Ration to a woman.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal, during his visit on Tuesday, reached the Prem Colony and checked the Ration Depot of Dharampal Kaushik and inquired about the distribution of ration. The Chief Minister was appraised that they have 544 ration cards, of which 250 are BPL, 294 OPH and 148 distress token cards. Five kg of wheat and one kg of pulses are being given free through these cards. The Chief Minister also distributed ration to a woman through distress token. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Nishant Kumar Yadav said that 10,230 distress tokens have been issued in the urban area, through which the ration for the months of May-June is being given free of cost.
District President, Mr. Jagmohan Anand presented the contribution of the people of Karnal for Haryana Relief Fund and Prime Minister Care Fund to the Chief Minister
During the visit, BJP District President, Mr. Jagmohan Anand made a contribution of Rs, 74,36,333 on behalf of Karnal residents towards the Haryana Corona Relief Fund along with presenting a cheque amounting Rs. 5,56,000 for the Prime Minister's Care Fund at the mini secretariat. Chief Minister Manohar Lal thanked the benevolent people of Karnal for their support and said that the people of Karnal always come forward to help in difficult times. Even before this, people of Karnal have contributed crores of rupees in the Relief Fund.
