Chandigarh July 3: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today has accorded approval for setting up two Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) in Gurugram district.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that one STP will be set up at village Dhankot and another at Bajghera. He said that the expenditure on construction of 2 MLD capacity STP to be set up in village Dhankot of Gurugram will be borne by the government, while the cost of construction of STP to be built in Bajghera, will be borne by the concerned Gram Panchayat.
He informed that the STP which is to be built in Dhankot village will be constructed by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority as a deposit work of the Development and Panchayat Department, at a cost of Rs 785.16 lakh. He informed that as per the action plan under Haryana Rural Development Scheme, this work will be completed on December 31, 2020.
