Chandigarh, September 10 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has welcomed the formal induction of ultra modern Rafale fighter jets into the Indian Air Force.

In a message issued here today, the Chief Minister also extended his gratitude to Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi and Defense Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh, who resolved the long-standing issue of purchasing Rafale jet for the Air Force and has decided to set up first squadron on the land of Haryana at Air Base station in Ambala Cantonment.

He said that the land of Haryana holds a special place for all Armed Forces of our nation. Ambala Cantonment has played an important role in all the wars that have been fought since the freedom struggle. The Chief Minister hoped that the fighter jets Rafale would definitely meet the Indian Air Force's objective i.e 'Nabh: Sparsham Deepti' and also develop our Air Force as one of the world's premier force.
