Chandigarh, September 16: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will be the Chief Guest in the ‘Youth Motivation Day’ Programme to be organized by J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad on September 17, 2020 to celebrate the 70th birthday of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi with a ‘Pledge’ to work towards realizing his vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
While stating this today, Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dinesh Kumar said that during the programme, the Chief Minister will interact with the students through digital platform and share his views on the relevance of the theme of Programme ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat.’ He will also launch a Mobile App developed by the students of the University under their Start-up Project.
He said that Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat is aimed at making India a self-reliant and self-sufficient nation. He said that with a view to support Mr Modi’s vision and mission to strengthen Country’s economy, the University has taken an initiative to celebrate September 17, 2020 as ‘Youth Motivation Day’.
Prof Dinesh said that on the same day on September 17, 2020, the University will organize an online 1st Global Townhall (meeting) for corporate leaders with the title theme ‘Modi-fy with Bose’ and also launch a 70-day campaign to amplify Prime Minister's message of being 'Vocal for Local'. The campaign would continue upto November 30, 2020, the birth anniversary of great Indian Scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose, the father of wireless telecommunication. It may be pertinent to mention here that the present State Government has also named the YMCA University of Science and Technology (Faridabad) after the name of renowned scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose.
The Vice Chancellor said that during the programme, an oath would also be administered to all the members of University fraternity to buy one ‘Make-in-India’ product on 17th day of every month, for next 12 months and to support the country with Vocal for Local. He has also called upon the people to come forward and be a part of this mass movement for the success of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
