Chandigarh, September 17 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has approved the proposal for construction of Elevated Railway Track in Kaithal City on Kurukshetra-Narwana railway line in order to decongest the traffic in this city. Total cost of work is Rs 191.73 crores.
Giving information in this regard an official spokesperson said that an amount of Rs 131.73 crore will be spent by the Haryana government on this project. He said that the total expenditure on this project having a length of 3.89 km long would be Rs 191.73 crore, in which the length of elevated track is 2.120 km.
He informed that with the implementation of this project, traffic in this area of Kaithal city will be smooth and the 3 number of Level Crossings will be closed permanently, which will saving of manpower and maintenance cost. The spokesperson said that the removal of level crossing will also save the time and fuel of the public.
