Chandigarh, October 7 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval of Rs 51,00,960 for the purchase of 2.2689 acres of land for the construction of road from Bodha to Tangoli via Saini Farm including construction of H.L. bridge on Markanda river in Kurukshetra district.
Sharing more information in this regard an official spokesperson said that Chief Minister had announced the construction of road from Bodha to Tangoli via Saini Farm including the construction of H.L. bridge on Markanda River in Kurukshetra district during a public meeting held on December 17, 2016, at Pehowa.
He said that 1.23 acre of land from village Bodha and 1.16 acres of land from village Tangoli is required for the construction of proposed link road from Bodha to Tangoli. Apart from this, 0.76 acre land from village Jakhwala is required for construction of Bridge on Markanda River.
The spokesman informed that 0.76 acre land of village Jakhwala is Panchayat land and village Panchayat has already passed a resolution for transferring the said land to Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Department free of cost. Besides this, the land in village Bodha and Tangoli belongs to private owners and the land owners of both villages have already uploaded their consent on providing the land on collector rate E-Bhoomi portal.
