Chandigarh October 16: Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal here today placed on record its deep appreciation of the services rendered by senior IAS Officer and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr Rajesh Khullar during the last five years in the State Government.

Chief Secretary, Mr Vijai Vardhan presented a proposal before the Cabinet hailing the remarkable services rendered by Mr. Khullar and the same was unanimously approved by the State Cabinet. This decision was also included in the record of decisions taken in the Cabinet Meeting today.

Mr. Rajesh Khullar will join as Executive Director, World Bank, Washington DC on November 1, 2020.

While sharing information about the important decisions taken in today’s Cabinet Meeting with the media, Mr Manohar Lal appreciated the services of Mr. Rajesh Khullar saying that there is a deep sense of trust between a Chief Minister and his Principal Secretary. Besides the political leaders, people have high hopes from the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister to do their administrative work. Undoubtedly, Mr Khullar has lived upto the expectations of people, he added.

All the members of the State Cabinet wholeheartedly appreciated the working style of Mr Rajesh Khullar. They congratulated Mr Rajesh Khullar for his new assignment as Executive Director, World Bank and hoped that Mr Khullar will make the State and Country proud.
