Chandigarh November 19 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has announced that the main road leading from Karnal to Ladwa will now be made four-lane till Ladwa. Earlier, this route was being made four-lane from Karnal to Khanpur village of Block Indri. The Chief Minister said that he is very happy that an attractive municipality building has been constructed here.
He said that in the year 2015, it was announced to build a municipal building and shopping complex and now a very attractive building and shopping complex has been constructed. In the Indri Vidhan Sabha constituency, a grand shopping complex and municipality building have been constructed at a cost of about Rs. 4.50 crore, out of which the newly built shopping complex has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.19 crore and municipal office building at a cost of Rs. 2.23 crore.
He said that a part of the municipal building has been developed commercially so as to generate income through which small expenses can be met. The government will promote the concept of Atmanirbhar by announcing such projects. He said that there will be no shortage of money to carry out development works. Development work had stalled due to COVID-19, but now all development works will be expedited.
The Chief Minister said that in order to make people belonging to BC-A category self-reliant and to promote art skills, Skill Development Centres are being opened by the Government so that these people can also improve their livelihood through self-employment.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Nishant Kumar Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Ganga Ram Punia and officers of various departments were present.
