Chandigarh, December 23: Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today has approved the report on modalities related to Inter-departmental transfer of Government land for public purpose.

The Haryana Government had constituted a four-member committee on February 17, 2020 to examine the matter and submit a report regarding the transfer of Government Land from one Government Department to another, transfer of Government Land to various Government Boards and Corporations of the State, transfer of Government Land to Municipal Corporations or Municipal Councils or Municipal Committees and village Panchayats including Zila Parishads and Block Samitis, transfer of Government Land to Municipal Corporations or Municipal Council or Municipal Committee Land to Government Department and transfer of Gram Panchayat Land to Government Departments.

The members of the committee were Power Minister, Mr. Ranjit Singh, Transport Minister, Mr. Mool Chand Sharma, and Minister of State for Archaeology & Museums, Mr. Anoop Dhanak, and Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department as Member Secretary of the Committee.
