Chandigarh, March 28: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today met Union Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah in New Delhi.

After the meeting while interacting with the media persons the Chief Minister said that during the meeting with the Union Minister, several topics related to Haryana were discussed. 

The Union Home Minister lauded the State Government for works being carried out in various fields, informed the Chief Minister. 

Sh. Manohar Lal further informed that during the meeting he also apprised Sh. Amit Shah about the arrangements made by the State Government for procurement of Rabi crops starting from April 1, 2021.  

Sh. Manohar Lal also informed the Union Home Minister about the extensive arrangements made in Haryana for the containment of COVID-19 infection.

The Union Home Minister was also apprised about the circumstances arising in Haryana due to the ongoing farmers' agitation. 

The Chief Minister said that in the context of farmers' agitation, the Haryana Government has acted very patiently.

Sh. Manohar Lal strongly condemned the incident of beating and manhandling of the BJP MLA in Punjab. He said that the Punjab government should take immediate cognizance of this incident and should punish the culprits.
