Chandigarh, April 28- Haryana Chief Minister and President of Haryana Sahitya Akademi, Sh. Manohar Lal, has condoled the demise of several senior writers, artists and journalists who were suffering from corona infection and sent his condolences to the bereaved families.

Giving information in this regard, Director of Haryana Sahitya Academy Sh. Chander Trikha said that among the writers who lost their lives in the Corona period, include late Sh. Narendra Kohli, Dr. Suresh Gautam, Sh. Ramesh Upadhyay, great classical singer Sh. Rajan Mishra, eminent novelist Sh. Manzoor Ehtasham and senior Punjabi journalist Sh. Prem Gorkhi. He informed that the Haryana Sahitya Akademi has announced to bestow the honour of Ajeevan Sahitya Sadhana Samman this year upon Dr. Suresh Gautam.  Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal  also prayed for the speedy recovery of the writers, poets, artists who are presently admitted at various hospitals or are in home isolation.
