Chandigarh, April 28 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, said that in the midst of corona pandemic crisis many companies have came forward to contribute and join hands with State Government in the fight against coronavirus.
Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal spoke with representatives of many giant companies through video conferencing and appealed for cooperation in this war against the Corona pandemic.
While some companies have raised their extensive support and offered to build COVID hospitals, provide oxygen, oxygen-concentrator, oxygen-generators for the treatment of the Covid patients. At the same time, many companies have agreed to provide oximeters, masks, sanitizers and other medical equipment as soon possible.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the spread of corona has reached an alarming level and life of every citizen of the State is important for the government.
It is the effort of the state Government to ensure that every patient suffering from Covid should get appropriate treatment. He expressed his gratitude for the help being given by the big corporates and said that he hoped that the war against Corona will be won with collective efforts of all.
Representatives from several companies including Hero-MotoCorp, DLF Limited, Power Finance Corporation, Honda Motorcycle, Minda-Group, IFFCO Tokyo General Insurance Company Limited, Vivekananda Arogya Kendra from Gurugram, Delhi and other parts of the country interacted through video conferencing with Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal who deliberated on the Covid issue with them and took suggestions in dealing with the current situation.
All these representatives also assured the Government of Haryana to provide other financial assistance apart from medical equipments as well.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Department Sh. TVSN Prasad, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Amit Agrawal were also present on the occasion.
