Chandigarh, May 1 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the corona pandemic has affected the whole world. Today the 400th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji is being celebrated across the country and abroad, but the effect of Covid pandemic is also being seen in the Gurudwaras.
The Chief Minister said this while interacting with the media persons after visiting Gurdwara Nada Sahib, Panchkula on the occasion of 400th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur ji today. The Chief Minister prayed to the almighty and hoped that country and the State shall soon get rid from this pandemic.
In response to a question regarding the status of oxygen in the State, the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that a special train of oxygen from Odisha has arrived in Haryana today and oxygen will soon be supplied to the hospitals as per the requirement and demand. First priority will be given to Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat and other affected districts of NCR.
At the same time, while answering another question regarding vaccination, the Chief Minister said that today some consignment of vaccine has arrived in Haryana.
The Chief Minister after paying homage at the Gurudwara, visited the Gurudwara premises and interacted with the Head Granthi, Sh. Jagjit Singh. He also assured cooperation in every matter related to Gurudwara Nada Sahib.
Several officials including Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sh. Mohit Handa, Sub Divisional Officer, Sh. Rakesh Sandhu were also present during the visit.
