Chandigarh, May 13: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has congratulated and greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and Parashuram Jayanti.
In a message issued here today on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and Parashuram Jayanti, the Chief Minister said that the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and gives a message of harmony, brotherhood and goodwill. It motivates us to work unitedly for the progress of the country and society and to end mutual enmity.
Describing the Lord Shree Parshuram as a symbol of bravery, the Chief Minister said that no one has been as generous as him and he was a great warrior. We should celebrate his birth anniversary by rising above caste, colour, discrimination and religion.
The Chief Minister said that for the last one year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all social and religious festivals have been celebrated under the COVID-19 protocol . He urged the people to celebrate both these festivals by staying in their homes and following the rules of social distancing and lockdown, keeping in mind the increasing number of cases.
