Chandigarh, May 27: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that State Government is committed to ushering in transparent, responsive governance where citizens can obtain services without visiting government offices and without trouble. To this end, an ambitious scheme 'Parivar Pehchan Patra(PPP)' a transformational technology-based governance programme has been initiated to ensure pro-active delivery of Government services, schemes and benefits to rightful beneficiaries.
He said that since last one and half years, COVID-19 Pandemic had certainly hampered the speed of implementation of this scheme but now as the curve has flattened, the pace of work should speedup and all the officers concerned should work on action mode to achieve the target for completing the verification process required for PPP.
"Focus should be on formulating new strategies to ensure Maximum feedback in minimum time so that preparation of dynamic data of every family residing in Haryana should be done at the earliest," directed the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister was presiding over a review meeting of Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) with Additional Deputy Commissioners and other senior officers held here today through video conference.
The Chief Minister directed that every Additional Deputy Commissioner and other officers concerned should launch a special training programme focusing on motivating the PPP team including team lead, a local IT operator, a social activist, a college student and a volunteer from the local area for the successful implementation of PPP at grassroot levels.
"Standard Operating Procedures should be made for ensuring similar execution of work by the team members," directed the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister said that a new revived system has been developed wherein the process of filling up PPP performa has been simplified. Therefore now the officers concerned should further make efforts
"At present, the PPP is a web-based system, while now plans are being made to make this system mobile application based so that the updation of real-time data is done in minimum time and an easier manner", said the Chief Minister.
He said that as PPP is the tool for achieving ‘paperless’, ‘faceless’ service delivery to citizens, therefore now the entire process adopted under this scheme would be made centralised, meaning that the monitoring of every work executed under PPP would be monitored at the headquarters level.
Chairman, Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises, Sh. Subhash Barala, Chairman, Haryana State Higher Education Council, Professor B. K. Kuthiala, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Principal Secretary, Citizen Resources Information Department, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director, General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Secretary, Citizen Resources Information Department, Ms. Sofia Dahiya were also present in the meeting.
