Chandigarh, July 8 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was called upon by Managing Director, Hyundai Motors India, Sh. Seon Seob Kim, here today and was invited by the company to inaugurate the newly established 'India Headquarter' in Gurugram. Keeping the future in mind, the company also expressed its desire to set up a new project of state-of-the-art technology in Haryana.

Sh. Manohar Lal accepted the invitation of the company and said that soon time will be given to them in this regard.  The Chief Minister told them that Haryana is a fast growing state in the industrial sector.  For setting up industries in Haryana, a single window system has been created, on which all approvals are easily obtained and it is a matter of pride that this single window system of Haryana has been recognized as the best in India.  He said that India is performing well in Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living Index and Haryana is considered the fastest in both these respects.  He said that Haryana is one of the favorite destinations for global investors.  Our state is presently a leading manufacturer in the field of Cranes, Excavators, Cars, Two Wheelers, Shoes, Scientific Instruments etc, he added.

The Chief Minister assured that all possible cooperation would be given by the state government related to land and other formalities in future investments made by Hyundai Motors India Company.  He said that for the assistance of foreign investors, 'Foreign Cooperation Department' has also been constituted in the state whose officers keep in constant touch with the investors from time to time.

Describing Haryana as a 'business-friendly state', the Chief Minister, said that if the company needs skilled youth, that too will be fulfilled from the state itself.  The Chief Minister further informed that the Haryana Government has signed an MoU with the Industrial Training Institutes through which the youth trained from these institutions would be given knowledge of current technology.

During the meeting held in a cordial atmosphere, the Managing Director of the company, Sh. Seon Seob Kim, was very impressed with the facilities being provided to the industries in the state and agreed to invest more in the future.
