Chandigarh, July 23- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has said that the villagers will now be able to directly submit online demands/complaints and suggestions related to development works to the government. The Chief Minister said this on the occasion of launching the online portal Gram Darshan https://gramdarshan.haryana.gov.in/ for suggestions and complaints related to development works of villages in Chandigarh today. Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala was also present during the occasion.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that 'Gram Darshan' portal has been developed to ensure direct participation of villagers in development works. This will be an easy way to register their demands/suggestions and complaints from anywhere.

He said that on the basis of the suggestions given by the villagers, a blueprint for future development plans would be prepared.

He directed the officers of all the departments to fix the priorities of five works of their department so that the complaints and suggestions lodged by the villagers can be redressed on the priority basis.

Complaints will be linked to CM Window

The Chief Minister said that the priority of the government is to redress the grievances of the people. He said that the complaints made by the villagers on the Gram Darshan portal will be linked with CM Window so that there is no duplication of complaints. The Chief Minister also directed to link Gram Darshan Portal with 'Jan Sahayak' app.

Only complaints regarding one’s village can be filed

An individual will be able to file a complaint/suggestion on the Gram Darshan Portal only in respect of the village of his permanent residence (which is recorded in the Parivar Pehchan Patra).

Public representatives will forward suggestions/complaints

The suggestions and demands given by the villagers will be directly visible to the Sarpanch/Panchayat Samiti member/Zilla Parishad member/MLA and MP. All the public representatives will see the suggestions of their jurisdiction on the dashboard, which will be able to be taken forward with the recommendations of the concerned public representatives.

Suggestion/complaint status information will be received through SMS

Along with registering the suggestion/complaint on the portal, an ID will be generated which will be sent to the concerned applicant through SMS. Along with this, the applicant will get updated information about the action taken on the suggestion / complaint from time to time through SMS.

Complaint can be filed in at least 50 characters

The applicant has to state his point of view in at least 50 characters while registering the complaint/suggestion on the Gram Darshan Portal. Apart from this, applicants will be able to submit their problems/suggestions to the government by uploading the photo. Only that individual who has been issued Parivar Pehchan Patra will be able to file a complaint on this portal.

Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Power Department, Sh. PK Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works (B&R) and Architecture Department, Sh. Alok Nigam, Additional Chief Secretary, Environment and Climate Change Department, Smt. Dheera Khandelwal, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Science and Technology Department, Sh. Amit Jha, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Smt. Ashima Brar among other senior officers were present during the launch.
