Chandigarh, August 5: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal here today approved Amendment in the Haryana Education College Cadre (Group C) Service Rule, 1986.

These rules may be called the Haryana Educational College Cadre (Group C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

In the Haryana Educational College Cadre (Group C) Service Rules, 1986 (hereinafter called the said rules), in rule 5, for the words "thirty five years", and "seventeen years" the words "forty two years" and "eighteen years" respectively shall be substituted.

The amendments have been done in the clause of promotion from amongst Tabla Player or by transfer or deputation of the said official already in service of any State Government or the Government of India.

Under the new Haryana Educational College Cadre (Group C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2021, for Senior Tabla Player to be promoted by promotion, the official must have 20 years of experience as Tabla Player.

Meanwhile for the promotion by transfer of deputation the official must have 20 years experience as Tabla   Player in any State Government or the Government of India and must have knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject in Matric or Higher Education.
