Chandigarh, August 16: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today attended the 'Abhinandan Samaroh' organised in Jamalpur, the native village of Union Minister, Sh. Bhupender Yadav in Gurugram district and made several announcements for the village.
These announcements include the opening of Ayurvedic college, making arrangements for proper sewerage in the village, connecting every field with a micro-irrigation scheme, giving an incentive of Rs. 4000 per acre for planting vegetables and fruits in place of millet crop.
The grand 'Abhinandan Samaroh' was organized to celebrate the appointment of Sh. Bhupender Yadav, a Rajya Sabha MP from village Jamalpur in Gurugram district, as Union Minister in the Modi government.
Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was present as the Chief Guest in this Samaroh. The people showed their gratitude towards Chief minister by presenting him a turban.
The Chief Minister said that he has also been informed about the water crisis in this area. This area is a millet area. He said that the State Government has procured millet at a Minimum Support Price of Rs 2150, whereas the Rajasthan government is not buying bajra and their bajra was being sold at the rate of Rs. 1200 to 1300 per quintal.
On this occasion, Union Minister, Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Sirsa MP, Smt. Sunita Duggal, Alwar MP, Mahant Balaknath, former Minister, Sh. Rao Narbir Singh, Sohna MLA, Sh. Sanjay Singh, Pataudi MLA, Sh. Satya Prakash Jaravata and other political dignitaries were present.
