Chandigarh, September 1– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that due to global warming and climate change, environmental protection and water conservation is becoming the need of the hour. It is our duty to conserve both of these for the coming generations and in this series, everyone will have to contribute in some way or the other

The Chief Minister was speaking after releasing the book 'Lokpunj' authored by social activist and writer Dr. Sanjeev Kumari here today.  He also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Sanjeev Kumari for writing a book on these important subjects.

On this occasion, Dr. Sanjeev Kumari also presented three other books namely Tisaya Johad, Jhadte Patte and Ashaon ki Shikha to the Chief Minister.
