Chandigarh, September 17- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government has done continuous work for the welfare and progress of every section of the state and will continue further. Whether it is a matter of interest of the farmers, of providing 24 hours electricity in the state, providing government jobs to the youth on the basis of merit only or giving the highest prize mone to deserving sportspersons, the government has made welfare policies while ensuring transparency and accountability.
Chief Minister was speaking during 'Salute Haryana', a special programme for Olympic players on behalf of India News Haryana. While appreciating the performance of the players from Haryana, the Chief Minister said that Haryana is performing exceptionally well in sports and they will continue to make the state and the nation proud at national and international level.
On the issue of water between Delhi and Haryana, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the opposition only talks in the air. We have never stopped Delhi's water. During his Delhi tour, the Chief Minister said that the extension of the Cabinet has been discussed with the Prime Minister. He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has several decisions in the country's interest. On the issue of farmer movement, the Chief Minister said that as far as the agitation of the farmers is concerned, the Congress has fanned the flames of this agitation. He said that since there is BJP government in Haryana, it is being targeted. He said that most people do not know about the three laws. In democracy, everyone has the right to voice their opinion and no one is being stopped from protesting peacefully. However, if anyone breaks the law, strict action will be taken taken as per the rules. He said that the option of mandis have been given to the farmers, the farmers have the choice to sell their crop anywhere. This agricultural law is in the interest of the farmers.
The Chief Minister said that Mera Paani Meri Virasat started for water conservation by the Haryana Government has yielded positive results and the farmers have also given full support to this Vision of the Government. The campaign to save water has proved successful and even the farmers have appreciated this development.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is providing 24 hours electricity in 5500 villages under Mhara Gaon Jagmag Gaon scheme.
Regarding the ambitious plan of the state government, the Chief Minister said that under Parivaar Pehchan Patra (PPP), the family has been considered a unit and benefits of government schemes will be provided according to this unit. He said that the target of the government has to ensure minimum income of the very poor families of the state, under the Antodaya Parivaar Uthan Yojana which was started by the Chief Minister. Under this scheme survey work is in progress. He said that the Haryana Government will deliver the benefit of various welfare schemes to the doorstep of the eligible families and will also create awareness about the schemes by going door to door.
On topic of the constable recruitment paper leak case, the Chief Minister said that the first paper leak gang was found to have political protection, we have not forgotten any case. The state government has overcome all the loopholes in the system and has also nabbed the accused in the case. He said that the state government has only given government jobs on merit. He said that the government's goal is to ensure employment for everyone in Haryana by 2024.
